A delightful authentic French cycling poster for Rochet bicycles. Depicting four French champions: Raphael Geminiani, Noelle Naulot, Henri Andrieux and J.C. Chapelle. The most well-known was Raphael Geminiani (aka Le Grand Fusil or Big Gun). A seven time stage winner of the Tour de France, three time winner of the King of the Mountain in the Giro d'Italia and the only man to finish in the top 10 of all three Grand Tours in the one year. After racing, Geminiani was the Directeur Sportif for Champions Jacques Anquetil and Eddy Merckx. Off the track Geminiani was infamous for his temper, almost drowning a team mate/rival during a press conference in a bath and emptying a plate of food on another.
