The painting depicts designs associated with the claypan site of Watanuma, north-west of the Kintore Community.

The 'U' shapes represent two women sitting by a small creek inside the claypan digging for soakage water. The arcs show the windbreaks built by the women and the lines are the sandhills surrounding the site.

Yuyuya is an acclaimed Pintubi Aboriginal artist born c. 1946 in remote Central Australian desert. She is a senior ceremony woman and jointly leads the ceremonial dancing in Kintore. Her work is held in the collections of the NGA, San Antonio Museum of Art (USA) and the Voituron Collection (Belgium) among others.

The artwork comes with certification that it is an original work of art.
