This umbrella or stick stand is in the shape of a large brass bound jug with a brass handle and spout. The jug is made like a barrel with the wooden staves held together by the brass hoops. It's a reasonable size too, standing 580 mm high with a diameter of 330 mm. It is in very good condition. Made in France it dates from the late 1940's or early 1950's.
