This style of vase was made in the 'depression era'. People wanted the opulent look of crystal without the price tag. This 'bud' vase is big enough to hold a few small cuttings from your garden but small enough to sit on your bedside table, bathroom vanity or window sill.

It features the classic criss cross (I call it pineapple) pattern around the body of the vase. The top edge has a lovely scalloped pattern pressed into it and a plain base. It's a solid vase for its size - which is why it's stood the test of time with no flea bites or chips.
