A lovely collection of twelve blue and white plates from the Spode Blue Room Collection. Each plate features a different historic transfer print taken from original Spode engravings dating back to the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Patterns include classic scenes such as Willow, Botanical studies, pastoral landscapes and architectural views, all printed in the traditional deep cobalt blue that Spode is famous for. Made in England and designed as a collector series celebrating historic Spode patterns first introduced between around 1790 and the early 1800s. These examples are late 20th century production and display beautifully either individually or grouped together on a wall as shown. A great way to create a classic blue and white wall display.
