
Pair of Antique English Edwardian Sheraton Style Armchairs
These are an extremely fine quality pair of genuine Antique English late Victorian / Edwardian circa 1900 Arm Chairs made from rare prestigious imported Satinwood and hand painted all in the later 18th century ( later1700s ) Thomas Sheraton revival manner with their shield shaped backs, square tapered front legs with spade feet and downward flowing arms which all result in a very elegant and pleasing aesthetic result.
Condition: Excellent. Both chairs since photographed are now upholstered in a matching neutral fabric and finished with brass studding.
Size: Width 55cm x Seat Depth 43cm x Height 97cm.
Price: Were $4,500 the pair 'as was' now reduced to $3,985 and including the upholstery.
Sellers observation. Exceptionally beautiful and rare quality. Hand painted Satinwood in the 18th century manner - it doesn’t get any better.
