Mid Century Hand Painted Studio Pottery Lidded Pot with Blue Frog Figure
1950's studio pottery lidded pot is hand painted with multiple subjects, finished with clear glossy glaze inside and out so it can hold liquid if required. There is a fun blue painted frog finial figural knop handle to the lid. Orchids are painted on one side with attendant insects, including a large yellow butterfly, the opposite side shows some terrace houses and a cottage next to water where a fisherman and his dog in a rowboat are trying thier luck with multiple lines. Whimsical and fanciful its sure to delight.
The condition is excellent with no chips or cracks.
