Mahogany writing bureau / secretary desk ball & claw feet C1800's
This writing bureau has original brass handles, hinges and keys. The drawers are handcut dovetail with runners in good condition allowing all drawers and drop table supports to run well.
There are compartments (made of secondary wood) for envelopes and other stationery items.
This bureau with beautifully carved feet and mouldings has been in my family for 4 generations. Showing some wear, minor scratches and other signs of age, this beautiful, fully original piece can readily be brought back to it's former glory.
