A distinguished example of French Art Deco cabinetmaking, the rectangular top with rounded corners above a conforming case fitted with three doors, each centred by a boldly figured fruitwood panel inlaid in a striking quatre-foil parquetry pattern and framed by a rope-twist carved moulding, all within an oak surround of rich limed finish; the whole raised on a boldly architectural trapezoidal plinth of sculptural form. The brass hardware of restrained design.
