A fine pair of gold stud earrings in 14 karat yellow gold, each comprising a central oval cut medium blue Ceylon type sapphire which is surrounded by tapered baguette-cut and brilliant cut diamonds. The diamonds in the suite are of H/I colour and SI/P1 clarity and in total weigh an estimated 1.3 carats. The stud earrings have a strong gold post and good-quality slide-type fitting. Whilst the pair is unmarked other than a gold purity stamp, due to them being crafted from 14-karat gold, it can be assumed they were crafted in the United States, likely in the late 20th century.
