Manufactured in Italy, the chair was designed in 1996 by Antonio Citterio for Flexform. The archetypical folding chair, Carlotta was reinterpreted in a contemporary vein with a light hand and a pitch-perfect marriage of sophisticated materials, like metal and leather.
The joint screws, clearly visible on the metal structure, emphasise the austere, unornamented design that sets this armchair apart. Frame is satined chrome and upholstery is dark brown leather with matching stitching. Very minor marks of wear in the leather and pitting to the chrome are visible, as shown in photo, but generally in excellent condition.
