Antique Victorian walnut Credenza / Side Cabinet with Wedgewood plaques and ormolu mounts,
This is an extremely fine quality ‘high end’ example of a genuine antique English Victorian third quarter of the !9th century Credenza / Side Cabinet with a strong French Louis XVI influence. The cabinet is finished in selected well figured Walnut and Amboyna and is embellished with ‘Wedgewood’ plaques applied decorative gilt ormolu mounts.
The cabinet has a central storage cabinet with a ‘blind’ feature panelled door and curved glazed doors at either end which reveal shelved and fabric lined interiors for display purposes.
All supported on original short turned bun feet.
Condition: Excellent near original commensurate with age and use.
