These are a very decorative and theatrical pair of antique early 1900s turned wooden Torcheres with an Ebonised and gilt finish. Torchere is a French term that means ‘torch lamp’ and is used to hold a light or lamp. They may also referred to floor lamps.
Condition: Over all very good with minor ware. They have recently been fitted with a brass bulb holder brass gallery frosted flame shade and rewired with a silk covered lead.
