This is a good genuine, antique English, mid 19th Century, Victorian Period, TEA CADDY with a well fitted original interior of two lidded compartments for storing tea which then was rare and expensive.
The box is basically visually resembles a Jewellery Box of rectangular form with a brass hinged curved lid. The whole is finished in we
lovely honey coloured well figured Walnut Burl and then embellished with the application of decorative, shaped Brass brackets etc..
In very good condition for age.
