This is a fine quality example of a superior genuine antique English Victorian Combination Pole Screen and Side Table. The screen has a nicely carved embellished show timber Walnut frame in the French Louis XV manner with a colourful hand embroided floral Tapestry within. The table section comprises of a serpentine shaped half table top supported on an elegant turned centre column with a fluted shaft and a reeded lower bulbous turning. From the small upright cylindrical base with an inverted finial beneath flow three well shaped and tapered cabriole legs in a tripod formation. The legs have raised Acanthus carved knees and carved downward scrolled toes.
