Antique English Victorian Mahogany set of six Dining chairs.
These are a good quality and stylish genuine antique English 19th century Victorian period 1870s Mahogany ‘show timber’ framed set of six Dining Chairs.
The chairs feature what is referred to as a waisted ‘Admiralty ‘ back with the shaped top rail resembling an Admirals hat in profile.These chairs also have a front serpentine shaped seat rail, curved side seat rails, well turned and nicely tapered front legs complete with their original castor assemblies and fully sprung seats with rolled edges. The shape of the back supports one well.
Condition: Excellent for age. Structurally sound and still have their original French polished finish. They may require recovering to taste and if so we can organise a professional upholsterer at a trade price.
