Antique English Victorian Boulle Marquetry Credenza, last quarter of the 19th Century
A very superior quality, genuine Antique, English, Victorian, circa 1870, large and impressive Side Cabinet / Display Cabinet of serpentine form all in the manner of the famous late 17th. century French master cabinet maker Andre Charles Boulle. The shaped side display cupboards at either end having serpentine glass doors and each has two shelves, There is a large central storage cupboard in the middle with a curved door which is profusely inlaid with brass and tortoise shell. As are other sections of the cabinet which is also embellished with applied chased ormolu mounts.
Condition: This magnificent piece has been fully and professionally restored by museum quality conservators.
