Antique English early 1800s George III period Hall table / Side Table / Writing Table.
This is a simple but charming piece of Georgian furniture. It is extremely versatile as it may be used as a Side Table, Hall Table or as a Writing Table it is beautifully made from superbly figured imported Central American Mahogany and is of a lovely mellowed warm honey colour.
The rectangular top has a curved edge molding and the frieze has a full width flush fitting drawer with quality brass draw pull knobs and central key hole escutcheon. The elegant legs are nicely turned and tapered and have ring turnings plus there is an Ebony line inlaid panel on the corners of the frieze.
Condition: Excellent.
