Antique Chinese 19th Century Leather and Brass Painted 'exportware' Box
This is a really good example of a quality genuine Antique Georgian period Chinese box used to house and protect export ware during transport from China to England.
The boxes are usually made of Camphor and are covered in leather and have brass protective edges and decorative brass studding. Very occasionally one like this one is hand painted as well.
