The mirror retains all of its original mirror plates throughout with the central plate set within a mottled ebony border with a wave like design and an impressive pierced gilt metal band with lovely foliate designs.
The outer mirror plates are set at an angle creating a most decorative perspective and are separated by beautiful gilt metal mounts with large acanthus leaves and open winged griffins. The border of the frame also displays a gilt metal band with wonderful pierced scrolled foliate designs and birds.
